Problems with linking to other datasets

Having just onboarded several new and updated datasets, we have noticed the following problems.

  1. We listed ‘ALL’ as a linked dataset following the guidance in the docs (https://metadata.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HDR/pages/961904684/Linked+Data+V2), which says: ‘If all the datasets from Gateway organisation can be linked please indicate “ALL” and the onboarding portal will automate linkage across the datasets submitted’. However, this doesn’t seem to have worked and “ALL” appears literally as a title of a linked dataset (which of course links to nothing).

  2. We listed datasets from other organisations carefully using exactly the same title as appears on the Innovation Gateway, again following the guidance. However, the linked dataset information on the Gateway says ‘Unrecognised dataset title’ under each linked dataset we have listed. I assume this is because we used text titles rather than DOIs. However, most of the datasets we’re linking to don’t appear to have DOIs. I was hoping the Gateway would be able to recognise an exact match in a title and a) not produce a potentially confusing message for the user (i.e., the ‘Unrecognised dataset title’ message) and b), link to the datasets with the exact same title rather than going through a search function that ends up retrieving multiple datasets.

Thanks for your feedback!
